Montana Tech has provided links to the following websites that offer scholarships or other resources available to students.  Beginning on May 19, 2015, no new individual scholarships will be listed unless they have a relationship with Montana Tech and our students received scholarships from the donor for multiple years. 

The Federal Trade Commision has published consumer information on Scholarship and Financial Aid Scams.  Please make yourself aware of this information.

American Business Women's Association, Big Sky Chapter Impact Scholarships - Two awards, one for a female student pursuing a baccalaureate degree and one for a female attending a community college, technical or vocational school.  Eligibility requirements:  U.S. citizen, female, resident of Lewis & Clark, Broadwater, or Jefferson County in Montana, at least a 3.0 GPA - Email your name and address to robynvh@bresnan.net.  Deadline March 31, 2016

Ron Verbeck Montana Tech Matched Education Savings Account (MESA) Program - Helps hardworking students with limited incomes save for college expenses. For every $1 saved, the MT Tech MESA program matches it with $5.  Save up to $500 and you will be eligible for the maximum match of $2,500! 

Montana University System Scholarships - Several scholarships are available to Montana students.  Deadlines vary.

American Welding Society Foundation Scholarships - multiple scholarships available for students majoring in welding engineering.  Deadlines vary.

Nursing Scholarships - Database for Nursing Scholarships

72 Degrees National Scholarship - $500 available, write a 400-600 word essay on potential, affordable cooling solutions for individuals in areas without easy access to air conditioning.  Deadline March 15, 2016.

Plumbing Masters National Scholarship - $500 available, write a 400-600 word essay on what you consider to be the most innovative invention in the field of plumbing and why.  Deadline March 15, 2016.

Discover® Student Loans Launches New Scholarship Sweepstakes - each award is $2500, 5 winners randomly drawn on June 8, 2015, September 7, 2015, December 7, 2015, and March 7, 2016.  No purchase or student loan necessary for students to enter or win.  Deadline February 29, 2016.

Career Step Scholarships - Scholarships for graduating high school seniors, mothers returning to school, and military service members and spouses.  Deadlines vary.

FastWeb - This is a massive scholarship database with incredible matching technology to assist you in finding scholarships for which you can apply.  Deadline Varies.

StudentScholarships.org - This website is an excellent free resource for students looking for assistance in paying for their education.  Deadline Varies.

College Scholarships and Resources for Women provided by BestColleges.com - Explore scholarships for female students.  Deadlines Vary.

CollegeNET - This is a unique scholarship that's awarded weekly via a scholarship election system. You create a profile and post to topic and video forums up to five times a day. You have the opportunity to vote on other candidate's postings, and they can vote on yours. You receive points for casting and receiving votes. Whoever receives the most points at the end of the election period, wins the scholarship. The scholarships are generally $3,000 - $5,000 per week. Deadline Weekly.
