Montana Tech is extremely excited to participate in The Outcomes Survey, the industry standard for reporting students outcomes after graduation. Your response is critical for federal reporting requirements, academic and career advising, student recruitment, peer-school comparison, and other institutional reporting needs. Help us keep Montana Tech’s outcome numbers strong and accurate!
Emails prompting you to complete and update the survey will be sent one-month before graduation, at three months, six months, and again one-year after graduation. Your DIGGERecruiting account is available as an alumnus, as well. If you have any questions or need assistance, now or in the future, please contact Career Services at firstname.lastname@example.org or (406) 496-4140.
Diplomas will be mailed to the diploma address provided on students' graduation application for those students who will be completing degree requirements in May. If your address changes before diplomas are mailed, please email the Enrollment Services Office at email@example.com with the updated address.
If you are graduating with honor or high honor, you will wear an honor cord during the ceremony. Please stop by Enrollment Services (MG 207) the week before commencement to pick up your honor cord. Visit this website to learn how honor and high honor are calculated. If you misplace your honor cord, you will be required to pay an $8.00 replacement fee if you want another cord.
If you have a hold on your account, you will be allowed to participate in the commencement ceremony. However, you will not receive your plaque, diploma, or transcript until you have taken care of all of your holds. Please check your Orediggerweb account to see if you have any holds.
All graduates (except those with holds) will receive a plaque with a copper replica of their diploma as a gift from Montana Tech. These will be mailed with the diploma after final graduation check-out is complete.
Please note that if you completed a Request to Restrict Release of Directory Information during your time at Montana Tech, your name will not appear on the graduation list, in the commencement brochure, or in the newspaper article about graduation. Also, we recommend that you have this confidentiality flag removed from your account before you graduate. If a potential employer were to call Montana Tech to verify that you’ve earned a degree from Montana Tech, we cannot release that information if you have a confidentiality flag on your account. If you wish to remove this flag, please complete the Authorization to Release Directory Information form and turn it in at the Enrollment Services Office in MG 207.
