Tech to hold Wellness Fair
Wellness in all aspects of life will be featured, encouraged and celebrated in a Wellness Fair sponsored by Montana Tech for its students, faculty and staff on Wednesday, September 25th from 10 am to 2 pm in the Copper Lounge on the Tech campus. The free fair features wellness activities, information booths and screenings. People are encouraged to dress casually so they can participate in activities.
The focus of the Wellness Fair will be what it means to be “a well person” and the various resources which can be utilized to help achieve that worthy goal. Montana Tech Bachelor Student Nurses will join with various community health providers to create an educational experience focused on health and well-being.
“The Wellness Fair has become a premier event on our campus,” says Joyce O’Neill, Counselor and Disability Services Coordinator. “It’s really going to be a fun event with students having opportunities to win prizes in addition to wellness education.”
The Wellness Fair is an annual event sponsored by Montana Tech’s Office of Student Life and the Montana Tech Student Wellness Task Force. Students, faculty and staff are invited to attend and participate.
