Teaching Assistant FERPA Procedure:

- For a student to be added as a Teaching Assistant, they must take the FERPA training course.

+ To request access to the take the FERPA training course, e-mail Tristan Sewell at: tsewell@mtech.edu

+ All Teaching Assistants must pass the FERPA training course with a 100%.

To be added as a Teaching Assistant the instructor must provide the CTS Help Desk with an email (ctshelpdesk@mtech.edu)requesting to add the student to a course. Please provide TA's full names and course CRNs.

Contact the CTS Help Desk to add a student as a TA once they have completed FERPA training with 100%

Once the CTS Help Desk is able to verify that the sudent has passed, the student will be added to the course as a Non Editing Teacher.
