Dr. Nagisetty teaches several courses in undergraduate and graduate programs including water quality engineering, land and stream restoration, surface water hydrology, soil and subsurface remediation, and laboratory courses. Dr. Nagisetty also will help graduate and undergraduate students in their research projects.
Dr. Nagisetty earned a B.Tech. in Civil and Environmental Engineering and M.Eng. in Hydrology and Water Resources Engineering (both from India)and a Ph.D. degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Louisville, Louisville, Kentucky. He has also earned his Professional Engineering License, which is also a very important factor to the Environmental Engineering program. He has been working as a Research Project Engineer for the Stream Institute of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Louisville for the past five years. We expect him to continue his research and develop collaborative research projects with groups such as Montana Bureau of Mining and Geology, a state of Montana Agency collocated on our campus.
Dr. Raja Nagisetty's strengths as a researcher and his potential to be an excellent teacher will be critical to the continued success of the Environmental Engineering Degree programs at Montana Tech.
